Clairmont and Beaverlodge Crime Prevention Town Halls
The County of Grande Prairie Regional Enforcement Services hosted two in-person Crime Prevention Town Halls on January 14, 2025 in Beaverlodge and January 23, 2025 in Clairmont to engage with residents and business owners about rural crime prevention and safety strategies. Attendees were able to connect with the County's new Crime Prevention Team, along with representatives from the RCMP, who shared insights about their work in the County while providing key information for residents and businesses.
Both events also featured booths hosted by local locksmiths, property security experts, and surveillance providers, offering tools and advice to help protect homes and properties effectively.

2022 Joint Virtual Crime Prevention Town Hall
County of Grande Prairie Regional Enforcement Services and the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment hosted a Joint Virtual Crime Prevention Town Hall on February 8, 2022. It was an opportunity for County residents served by the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment to:
- Learn about the role of Peace Officers, Bylaw Officers and the Grande Prairie Rural RCMP.
- Hear reports on crime prevention options in the region.
- Share their feedback in a moderated question-and-answer session.
