2024 County Youth Ambassador

Kherrington Opdahl is our 2024 County Youth Ambassador, and has done an excellent job at representing the County and engaging with residents at various events.

Besides her work as Youth Ambassador, Kherrington volunteers to help with pony lessons at PARDS to ensure that the kids are safe and having fun. She is also a part of two chuck wagon teams and is currently a student in Grande Prairie.

Kherrington recently spoke to our Agriculture Service Board about her experience as Youth Ambassador and shared the following sentiments:

"Being a Youth Ambasador has given me the chance to share the perspectives of the younger generation with those around around the County, from speaking with local farmers and ranchers to handing out candy to the young residents of our community. I would have loved to have been able to engage more with the youth of our County; I truly believe that they have a significant role in shaping our County's future"

Thank you Kherrington!
