Accessing the West Grande Prairie Regional Landfill

The West Grande Prairie Regional Landfill accepts household, agricultural and industrial solid waste, and recyclables from area residents and businesses. Users will unload waste by hand into the available bins.

** Please note: West Grande Prairie Regional Landfill is currently operating as a Transfer Station until further notice. All loads must be unloaded by hand into bins. Large loads may not be accepted and / or redirected to Clairmont Landfill.  Fees may apply at the Clairmont Landfill.  Please call 780-567-4194 for any questions.

County of Grande Prairie residents access the facility free of charge for solid waste and recycling.  Special handling items are subject to disposal fees check out the Fees Bylaw for pricing. 

Non-residents, commercial haulers and special items are subject to disposal fees.  Check out the Fees Bylaw for pricing.
