The Crosslink County Sportsplex is owned by the County of Grande Prairie and operated by Nustadia Recreation Inc.

County Sportsplex Pond

The Pond is located east of the playground at the Crosslink County Sportsplex, 7407 108 St in Clairmont.

The new landscaping project “International Paper & Arbor Day Foundation Grove” is a 2,900 square foot Orchard containing edible Apples, Cherries, Saskatoons and Haskap Berries as well, two Shoreline Planting beds along 300 feet of the southwestern shoreline.

Fishing

  • License not required for those under 16 years of age. Adults may assist without obtaining a license, provided the youth is the one primarily fishing.
  • License not required for those over 65 years of age
  • Catch and release only
  • Open during daylight hours
  • No ice fishing
  • Stocked with 2,000 rainbow trout and 50 tiger trout from Alberta Conservation Association on May 8, 2024
  • We follow the Alberta Sportfishing Regulations 
  • Do not release aquarium water, plants or dead or live animals into the pond

The pond is part of a stormwater management system. Water levels can change suddenly without notice. Avoid using the pond during and immediately after rainfall.
